ULF Please meet our blind boy, Ulf. He arrived in the Haven during the middle of the crazy CoVid period. We honestly don’t know how he became blind, nor his backstory as to how he arrived at the Haven. What we can tell you is that he is about five months old as of this writing (13 February), a friendly boy who like many blind cats, is able to get around well on his own and really doesn’t require any special accommodations. He gets on well with other felines, but could also be adopted on his own. Ulf has been microchipped, vaccinated against standard cat diseases as well as rabies, and when he does travel, he will do so with his certificate from the laboratory certifying his rabies blood test. Soon he will be neutered. All adoption offers are subject to a successful homecheck and an adoption fee of £160 or local equivalent. Due to his blindness, Ulf needs to be an indoor housecat, although he could also have access to a catio or fully-secured garden with supervision. Some blind cats can also be lead-trained successfully. Under no circumstances should Ulf be allowed to free-roam, regardless of the location. Koky has told Ulf that someone would be lucky to adopt him; are you ready to turn your luck around? If you’d like to make him an offer of adoption, learn about what it is like to have a blind cat, or to learn more about our adoption process in general, please send a PM to me directly and either myself or another member of our Admin team will respond back to you within 24 hours.
