TIGER / TIGGER ( REHOMING FROM SCOTLAND) This boy’s story starts back in mid-October 2018, when he along with two other orphan kittens were rescued and taken into the Haven, only a month or so old. Named Tigger by his first sponsor, he grew strong and handsome, a playful, friendly cat. Over time, his name gradually lost one of the “g’s” and became Tiger. And he watched his fellow orphan (Morris) and other friends adopted, whilst he sadly was overlooked. Tiger finally got his big break along with his fellow feline friend Mavis. They flew to the UK in early December and were adopted into a lovely family. Tiger loved having his own humans, but he was very wary of the family’s young son. Unfortunately, over time, he was not warmed to the youngster. And he has also started to become jealous of his kitty friend Mavis; he doesn’t want to share the humans. After trying various approaches and consulting with their vet and the SHE Admin team, the family has made the very difficult decision that they need to find a new home for Tiger. Tiger is about 2 1/2 years old. He is still recognised as a friendly and affectionate cat. But now that he’s had a taste of having his own human(s), he’s not willing to share them. He needs to be an only cat, and in a family that does not have any young children. He also needs to be an indoor/housecat, or if allowed outside, it must be a fully cat-safe garden (with the special fencing) or a catio. Tiger has lived in complete safety since he was only a few weeks old; he cannot be allowed to free-roam, even in quiet residential neighbourhoods. Tiger has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated against rabies (with his original laboratory test certificate) and also against standard cat diseases. He currently lives in Scotland, north of Glasgow and Edinburgh (equidistant between them). If you would are interested in offering a home to Tiger, or would like to learn more about our adoption process, please feel free to send me a PM and a member of our team will get back in contact with you. All adoptions are subject to a successful video homecheck as well as an adoption fee, used to offset the cost of Tiger’s travel from Cairo to the UK. If you’re not currently looking to adopt, would you please help us by sharing this post? Thanks in advance! IDEAL HOMEONLY PET , NO CHILDRENCARE & NEEDSWrite text hereREADY TO TRAVELNOW .
